Our next Estate sale is being worked on!
Our next
sale is here! We will be holding a whole
home estate sale at 1074 Cherry Street in Montoursville. The home is very packed with great items and
we anticipate having to limit access to the home the first few hours during the
first day of the sale. This sale will be
held Wednesday, October 28-Friday, October 30th. Our hours will be 12 noon until 6pm on
Wednesday at full price, Thursday, we will be open from 8:30am-3pm and we will
be 25% off until noon and will begin 50% after noon on Thursday and with Friday
being half price all day from 8:30am-2pm we are sure to be selling out
quickly. We do not anticipate being open on Saturday.
Furniture
includes a beautiful Burgandy color double reclining sofa with a center console
remote and other storage and drink holding area. We also have a nice lift chair that is ready
for your loved one who needs assistance getting up from a regular chair, sofa,
or recliner. We also have two matching
pieces as far as a floral sofa with chair.
All come from a non-smoking home.
In one bedroom, we also have a queen size bed available. There is
a matching set of Broyhill furniture as far as a dresser, nightstands,
and a chest. We also have several of
chest style dressers available in this sale too. There are two awesome (in our opinion) vintage
desks pefect for an office area or study in your home.
. We also have two hutches and a really nice
set of Maple finish dining chairs.
In
electronics, we have a nice Widex hearing aid with all the supplies you need
including TV hookup and even more great goodies to go along with this. We also have a nice component stereo system
from Sony featuring, AM/FM Tuner, Equalizer, 5 CD Carousel player, and
speakers, we also have a nice newer all-in-one stereo featuring blue-tooth and
aux inputs, CD Player, Phonograph with an older radio look! There is a programmable scanner, microphones,
guitar amplifier, and more items in the study room.
In household
goods, we have small appliances, Pots and Pans, Kitchen utensils, Décor items
including painted art on Board and Slate, prints, metal art, latch hook rugs, old
Tater and Onion storage box.

In major
appliances we have a gently used and newer Maytag Electric Dryer, and a never
used brand new Maytag washing machine!
Garden and
tools, we have bird houses, cute lawn décor, a 2 stage snow thrower by snapper
and a Toro lawn mower. We also have lawn
tools and more in the garage. Planters
and other outdoor décor items.
In collectibles,
we have several blow molds including Santa Claus, Old Lantern Blow Molds, Candy
Cane Blow Molds, and Baby Jesus along with Mary and Joseph and the Christmas
Star Blow molds too! We also have a Pez
Collectors Set of Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, Four Hasbro Boohbah Dance Along/Silly
Sounds plus toys, Paris Champion and a Rocket Plane Rail Sled, old PA license
plates from 1937, and an old bubble gum machine on stand. We also have a nice selection of quality
glassware from such as Fenton and Candlewick, Indian Glass, and more. This glassware also includes iridescent pieces
and we also have a Hen on a Nest you just have to see!
Gerry care
items include a shower chair, Walkers, Wheel Chairs and more!
Down in the
basement, we have a large selection of tools (hand and power tools), an old
Carpenter’s Tool carrier, several Metal Storage Cabinets and lockers, Dehumidifier
fully tested and working, Christmas and Halloween Décor, a very large Wooden
Wardrobe Cabinet which should be fun getting out of the basement! We also have an old wooden blanket chest and
a darker painted blacket chest with a nice patina, a small drafting table, cleaning supplies, auto care items, painting supplies,
wooden storage cabinets and shelving, a wooden file cabinet, stackable file
storage boxes, and other items too
We have very
nice ladies clothing with great brand names in sizes mostly small, medium, and
a few large sizes and petite. Most of it
looks brand new and for the most part, each piece is just $2 because there is
so much of it. We also have men’s and
ladies jackets with some hunting apparel.
We have a
collectible and working Washburn Hollowbody Electric Guitar model HB 35 from
1982. Music Stands and for other
musical instruments, we also have a Harmonica and a few Kazoos!
There is a
nice selection of mostly country cd’s, some classical CD’s and lots of
Christmas Music CD’s to get you in the mood after Halloween! There are some nice DVD’s to choose from as well as a few VHS tapes too!
As always,
we will have most of the box lots on a back porch and also a garage full of box
lots to choose from too! We will be
bringing a tent into the sale to place most of the clothing in and will also
have another area undercover with Jewelry and clothing too!
Like we
said, the home is packed with lots of goodies to go through and you may have to
wait a little while if you are there on day one at the start. We just can’t let too many people in an one
time, so please be patient, do not block neighboring driveways and please and
above all, be nice to fellow shoppers!
